The Edge DB Series EDBPB8-E5 is a full-range pro audio ported enclosure from Edge's DB Series, housing four 8-inch EDBPRO8-E3 midrange drivers and two EDBPRO36T bullet tweeters, rated at 860W RMS / 1720W peak.

This listing is the 8-inch version. The DB Series Pro Box is also available in a 6.5-inch EDBPB6-E5 (760W RMS).

The drivers are also sold separately: the EDBPRO8-E3 8-inch pro midrange and the EDBPRO36T-E1 pro tweeters.

EDBPB8-E5 full range pro audio enclosure

The DB Series Pro Box is built for high-volume, high-quality in-car audio, targeting ESQL (Extreme Sound Quality Level) performance. It combines four EDBPRO8-E3 8-inch midrange drivers with two EDBPRO36T bullet tweeters in a single enclosure.

The box is split into left and right channels for stereo sound. Both sides are ported, each with spring terminals. The port is tuned to boost mid-bass response for a balanced sound across the frequency range.

The enclosure is built from solid MDF with central bracing, which reduces resonance and vibration for cleaner sound at high volumes.

• Technology: a flared Turbo Port increases efficiency and bass response; the EDBPRO8 drivers use a "golf ball" design cone for improved strength, rigidity and a small increase in cone area.
