How to choose a tripod or mount
Think about how you travel. Carbon fibre tripods are lighter to carry on long walks, while aluminium versions cost less. A ball head is quick to level for stills; check the head and plate system so your camera, strap and clip can share one quick release standard. Arca-Swiss compatible plates work with most modern tripod heads. For hiking, a Capture Clip keeps the camera on your backpack strap, ready to shoot.

Q: Carbon fibre or aluminium tripod?
A: Carbon fibre is lighter and absorbs vibration well, so it suits travel. Aluminium is sturdy and more affordable for the same height and load.
Q: What is Arca-Swiss compatible?
A: It is a widely used dovetail plate standard. An Arca-compatible plate fits most tripod heads and clamps that use the same standard.
Q: Do you have mounts for action cameras?
A: Yes. The PGYTECH CapLock suction cup mount suits GoPro, Insta360 and DJI action cameras, and the PGYTECH action camera quick release plate adds an Arca-type ball head connection.
