About Silent Coat
Silent Coat is the value-engineering force in sound deadening — butyl sheets and multi-layer materials that deliver benchmark-adjacent performance at prices that make treating the whole car realistic. Its 2mm standard sheets are our most popular deadening product, with thicker Extra grades and closed-cell foams for complete builds.
Silent Coat range
- Sound Deadening sheets: vibration damping mat in 2mm (40 sheets), 3mm black (30 sheets) and 4mm (12 sheets) packs.
- Noise Isolator: foam insulation liner in 6mm (9 sheets) and 10mm (6 sheets) packs.
How to choose Silent Coat
Use the damping sheets directly on metal panels such as doors, floors and boot areas to stop vibration and rattles. Thinner sheets go further and suit large areas, while thicker sheets add more mass per panel. Layer a Noise Isolator over the top to absorb airborne road noise. For other brands and accessories, see our full soundproofing collection.
