How to choose amplifier wiring
Size the power cable to your amplifier. Smaller amplifiers can use a 10 or 8 AWG kit, while larger or multiple amplifiers need 4 AWG or heavier. Always fit a fuse close to the battery. If you are running more than one amplifier, a fused distribution block splits power safely. Choose RCA cables with the right number of channels and enough length to reach from the head unit to the amplifier.
