The Helix Next V Eight DSP Ultimate packs an 8-channel amplifier and 14-channel DSP into a single unit, giving you a complete active system without unnecessary wiring complexity. If you need a dedicated subwoofer channel alongside it, the Helix M One X is a capable mono Class D partner amp.
The Multi-Tool, Ultimate Form
This is the next evolution of Helix's all-in-one concept. Every aspect of the amplifier and processor has been redesigned for the Ultimate version.
One Box, Full System
Amplification and processing are housed together, keeping wiring tidy and tuning capability high. Fourteen DSP channels leave headroom to expand the system further down the line. For a more compact starting point, the Helix Amplify 206 DSP offers 6 amplifier channels with an 8-channel DSP in a similar integrated format.

About the Helix HA18207
From our tech experts at CEN
The Helix Next V Eight DSP Ultimate is an 8-channel Class HD amplifier with a 14-channel 64-bit DSP built in. It delivers 110 W RMS per channel at 4 ohms and up to 270 W per channel at 2 ohms, with six processed line outputs for further amplifiers.
Who it suits
Active systems and factory integrations that need a lot of channels from one unit. Its 12 high-level inputs accept up to 32 V with ADEP.3, and digital sources connect by optical or USB-C PerfectStream at up to 192 kHz. A subwoofer is often run from a line output into a mono amplifier such as the M One X.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How powerful is the Helix Next V Eight DSP Ultimate?
A: It has 8 amplifier channels delivering 110W RMS per channel into 4 ohms, and up to 270W RMS per channel into 2 ohms.
Q: Can the Helix Next V Eight DSP Ultimate connect to a factory head unit?
A: Yes. It has a 12-channel high-level input with up to 32 V RMS input sensitivity and the ADEP.3 circuit for OEM integration, and every high-level input can be routed individually to an amplifier or line output (1:1 IOR). There is also an optical SPDIF input.
Q: Can I add Bluetooth streaming to the Next V Eight DSP Ultimate?
A: Yes. The Extension Card 2.0 slot accepts add-ons such as Bluetooth HD audio streaming or extra analogue inputs, and the USB-C PerfectStream input supports lossless high-resolution streaming up to 192 kHz / 32 Bit.
