NOCO Jump Starters
NOCO Jump Starters are a range of portable lithium battery boosters that let you start a flat 12V or 24V vehicle without another car or a mains supply. Covering everything from small petrol hatchbacks to heavy commercial trucks, there is a model to suit most drivers.
The range includes the Boost, Boost X, Boost Air and Boost Max families, from the compact GB20 500A for smaller cars up to the GB500+ 6250A for plant and agricultural machinery. Prices start from £79.95.

Which NOCO Jump Starter should I choose?
The most important factor is your engine size and fuel type. The GB20 suits smaller petrol cars up to 4.0 litres only, while the GB40 and GB50 handle most everyday petrol and diesel cars. The GB70 and GB150, and their Boost X equivalents the GBX75 and GBX155, cover larger engines found in bigger cars, vans and SUVs. The Boost X models differ from the standard Boost models by offering 60W USB-C power delivery and generally higher-output torches.
If you also need to inflate tyres, the Boost Air AX65 combines a 2000A jump starter with a 100 PSI, 67 litre-per-minute air compressor. For heavy commercial vehicles — lorries, coaches, buses or agricultural machinery — the Boost Max range starts at 5250A for 12V systems with the GB250+, covers 24V systems up to 32 litres with the GB251+, and scales up to 6250A across both 12V and 24V with the GB500+ for engines up to 45 litres.
NOCO Jump Starters FAQs
Q: What is the difference between the NOCO Boost and Boost X ranges?
A: The Boost X models (GBX45, GBX55, GBX75, GBX155) offer 60W USB-C power delivery and higher-output torches than their standard Boost counterparts. Both ranges use UltraSafe lithium technology and are rated for 12V lead-acid battery systems.
Q: Which NOCO jump starter do I need for a diesel car?
A: Choose based on your engine size: the GB40 covers diesel up to 3.0 litres, the GB50 up to 4.5 litres, the GB70 up to 6.0 litres, and the GB150 up to 7.0 litres. Note that the GB20 is not recommended for diesel engines.
Q: Can NOCO jump starters charge phones and other devices?
A: Yes — most models in the Boost range include USB outputs for charging devices, while the Boost X and Boost Air models provide 60W USB-C power delivery.
Q: Which NOCO model suits a lorry, bus or heavy commercial vehicle?
A: The Boost Max range is designed for heavy-duty use: the GB250+ delivers 5250A for 12V systems and engines up to 16 litres, the GB251+ provides 3000A for 24V systems up to 32 litres, and the GB500+ covers both 12V and 24V at 6250A for engines up to 45 litres.
Q: Does the NOCO Boost Air AX65 work as a tyre inflator as well as a jump starter?
A: Yes — the AX65 combines a 2000A jump starter with a built-in 100 PSI, 67 litre-per-minute air compressor, so it can both start a flat battery and inflate tyres.
