The Peak Design Capture Clip V3 with Standard Plate in Eclipse (model CP-EP-3) is a CNC-machined aluminium camera clip that clamps to a backpack strap, belt or bag and holds your camera securely with a lockable quick-release button. It comes with an Arca-compatible Standard Plate and is part of the Peak Design Capture system for mirrorless cameras.

V3 Capture Clip with Standard Plate CP-EP-3
Capture keeps your camera rigidly stable while hiking, cycling or working on the move — unlike a strap it doesn't swing, and unlike a bag it gives you instant access at the click of a button. The clip clamps to any backpack strap, belt or bag; the included Arca-compatible Standard Plate screws into the bottom of your camera. Lock the camera in, press the quick-release button to remove. The V3 generation brings a smaller, lighter all-metal build with an ultra-smooth machined and anodised finish. If you prefer to carry without a clip, the Peak Design Cuff wrist strap uses the same quick-release anchor system.
Compatibility
- Works with all legacy Peak Design plates except DUALplate v1 (discontinued 2014).
- Only works with Pro Pad v2, not v1.
- Fits straps up to 6.4cm (2.5") wide and 1.5cm (0.6") thick with standard thumb screws, or up to 2.2cm (0.88") thick with the included hex-head clamping bolts.
