Edge Xtreme Series monoblock amplifier (EDX5000.1D-E2)
The Xtreme Series EDX5000.1D-E2 is a competition SPL amplifier built for high-demand subwoofer installations. Its Ultra Class D topology delivers up to 92% efficiency, maximising power delivery and minimising losses. The amplifier supports 18V DC input, allowing maximum output from a non-regulated power supply.
Dual 0 AWG power input terminals accommodate large-gauge cable runs from the vehicle's power supply directly to the amplifier PCB. The built-in strapping circuit allows two EDX5000.1D-E2 units to be bridged together, combining their output into a single channel for up to 11,800W RMS. If you need a lower-output starting point, the Edge DBX Series EDBX2200.1D-E4 is a Class D mono amplifier rated at 2200W RMS.
Parametric bass boost lets you target the exact frequency you need, with low pass and subsonic crossover filters also included. A 12dB on-board active crossover network, remote gain control, audio pass-through RCA output and full CE certification complete the specification.
