HELIX COMPOSE. The perfect speaker for any composition.
The HELIX COMPOSE platform was built to meet the demands of modern vehicle installations. It combines the flexibility of universal speakers with the precision fit of vehicle-specific systems, using innovative materials and smart engineering to deliver high efficiency, strong dynamics and excellent sound quality across a wide range of vehicles.
Price-performance highlight
The HELIX COMPOSE i3 series delivers first-class sound through high-quality components and intelligent engineering. Like the i7 series, it uses the same advanced mechanical technologies with real-world installation benefits. All speaker impedances are matched for use with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, ensuring maximum performance at all times.
High efficiency
The COMPOSE i3 uses 3 ohm technology, optimised for use with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers. This delivers a clear increase in efficiency and maximum sound pressure compared with standard 4 ohm designs.
Cenosphere paper cone
The cone features an innovative Cenosphere coating — hollow spheres incorporated into a polyamide layer applied to the cone surface. This increases stiffness and improves internal damping, producing an exceptionally stable yet lightweight cone for precise sound reproduction.
High-tech polymer basket
The basket is made from a high-tech polymer composite reinforced with glass spheres, giving maximum stability with minimal self-resonance. It eliminates flux modulation in the magnetic system, resists thermal stress and allows compact dimensions for easier installation in tight spaces.
ProConnect – The new industry standard
The ProConnect terminal accepts standard speaker cables or flat-plug WireKits for flexible system integration. The connection locks securely, includes reverse polarity protection and is rated for high electrical and mechanical stress.
WireKits – Plug & Play at its best
WireKits connect HELIX COMPOSE components to the original vehicle wiring harness, or optionally to a crossover. Built to automotive industry standards, these lockable adaptor cables are designed to handle the demanding conditions of in-vehicle installation.

About the Helix CI21500
From our tech experts at CEN
The Helix Ci3 W130-S3 is a pair of 5.25 inch (130 mm) midbass drivers from the Compose i3 range, rated at 90 W RMS and 135 W maximum at 3 ohms. They cover 80 Hz to 4 kHz and have a ProConnect terminal for speaker cable or optional WireKits.
Who it suits
Cars with 5.25 inch door positions, and anyone replacing the midbass from a Ci3 K130.2-S3 set, where this is the supplied driver. They need a 116.5 mm cut-out and 55.4 mm of depth. For a passive setup they connect to the Ci3 FX-UNI.2 through the Ci3 FX-WLP.2 lowpass cable crossover.
Our tech experts advise
With a DSP, run them from their own channel with a low-pass set to suit the tweeter. The 3 ohm load lets an amplifier deliver more power, so check it is stable. Get in touch and we will confirm what your doors take.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: Is the Ci3 W130-S3 a midrange or a midbass?
A: It is a 5.25 inch midbass with a frequency response of 80 Hz to 4 kHz, normally paired with a separate tweeter.
Q: What is the mounting depth of the Ci3 W130-S3?
A: Installation depth is 55.4 mm, with a 116.5 mm installation diameter and 130 mm outer diameter.
Q: What crossover suits the Ci3 W130-S3?
A: HELIX pairs it with the Ci3 FX-UNI.2 crossover and Ci3 FX-WLP.2 lowpass cable crossover, as in the Ci3 K130.2-S3 set.
