The goal was to combine the flexibility of universal speakers with the fit and finish of vehicle-specific systems — developed inside the vehicle, for the vehicle. The same practical mechanical technologies found in the i7 series are carried over here. All speaker impedances are matched for use with Helix and MATCH amplifiers for maximum performance. The Helix Compose i3 Ci3 K100.2FM-S3 component speakers are a natural partner in an i3-based system build.
High efficiency, 2 ohm version
Helix Compose speakers use highly efficient 3 ohm technology as standard, which works well with all Helix and MATCH amplifiers. Certain models are also offered as 2 ohm variants — the Ci3 W200FM-S2 is one of them, delivering maximum power and performance when paired with a suitable amplifier.
Cenosphere paper cone
The Cenosphere coating applies hollow spheres into a polyamide layer bonded to the cone. This increases stiffness and improves internal damping, resulting in an exceptionally stable yet lightweight cone with outstanding precision in sound reproduction.
High-tech polymer basket
The Compose i3 basket is made from a high-tech polymer composite reinforced with glass spheres. This delivers maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, eliminates flux modulation in the magnetic system and resists thermal influences. It also allows for compact basket dimensions — useful for tight installation spaces.
FlexMount200: universal meets car-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system using specially developed adaptor rings that allow Compose FlexMount speakers to be fitted in an almost unlimited range of vehicles. With the correct FlexMount200 adaptor ring, the speaker installs in the original factory position in an acoustically optimised way — a universal speaker that behaves like a vehicle-specific one.
ProConnect terminal
The ProConnect terminal is a professional automotive connector that accepts conventional speaker cables or flat-plug connections via Helix WireKits. The connection is interlocked, reverse polarity protected and built to handle the electrical and mechanical demands of automotive installation.
WireKits: plug and play
WireKits connect Helix Compose components directly to the vehicle's original wiring harness, or optionally to the crossover. Built to automotive industry standards, these lockable adaptor cables are designed to cope with the harsh conditions encountered during everyday vehicle installation.

Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
