HELIX COMPOSE. The perfect speaker for any composition.
The HELIX COMPOSE platform combines classic universal speakers with the advantages of vehicle-specific systems. Innovative materials and smart engineering deliver high efficiency, strong sound quality and wide vehicle compatibility — universal speakers evolved.
Performance highlight
The i3 component system delivers a first-class two-way sound experience using high-quality materials and practical engineering. All components are tuned to work together and are optimised for use with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers. New mechanical connection technologies are designed for safe, straightforward vehicle integration.
High efficiency
The Ci3 K130.2-S3 uses 3 ohm technology, which pairs well with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and delivers a noticeable gain in efficiency and maximum sound pressure. Certain models in the COMPOSE range are also available as optional 2 ohm variants for maximum output with compatible amplifiers.
Cenosphere paper cone
The cone uses a "Cenosphere" coating, where hollow spheres are incorporated into a polyamide layer applied to the cone surface. This increases stiffness and improves internal damping, producing an exceptionally stable yet lightweight cone with outstanding precision in sound reproduction.
High-tech polymer basket
The speaker basket is made from a high-tech polymer composite reinforced with glass spheres. This provides maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, eliminates flux modulation in the magnetic system, and offers strong resistance to heat. It also allows for more compact basket dimensions, simplifying installation in tight spaces.
Stunning highs and outstanding stability
The 0.75" / 20 mm titanium dome tweeter combines outstanding stability with low moving mass, high inner damping and strong thermal resistance — engineered for brilliant, compression-free treble reproduction.
Perfectly separated
The included Ci3 FX-UNI.2 crossover is tuned specifically for HELIX COMPOSE i3 components. It offers 6-stage tweeter level adjustment with a 12 dB slope, an integrated tweeter protection circuit, and compact dimensions suited to tight installation spaces. It is compatible with COMPOSE Connect and WireKit technologies for safe, polarity-proof connection to automotive standards.
COMPOSE Connect
COMPOSE Connect is a plug-in connection system that simplifies car audio installation. Standard flat plugs and couplings snap into proprietary plastic housings, creating a secure, automotive-standard connection that prevents polarity reversal — no soldering required.
FlexMount20 – Universal meets car-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system using specially developed adaptor rings. It allows COMPOSE FlexMount speakers to be installed in a wide range of vehicles in the original factory position, acoustically optimised with the matching FlexMount adaptor ring.
WireKits – Plug & Play at its best
WireKits connect HELIX COMPOSE speaker kits directly to a vehicle's original wiring harness via arrestable adaptor cables. Built to automotive industry standards, they are designed to handle the demanding environmental conditions encountered during vehicle installation.

About the Helix CI22410
From our tech experts at CEN
Helix Compose i3 5.25 inch component speakers, with separate tweeters that can be mounted higher where you will actually hear them, rated at 80w RMS.
Who it suits
Drivers building a proper front stage. Helix is a brand people choose when they care about staging and detail rather than volume, and these reward an amplifier and a processor.
Our tech experts advise
Sizes, adapter rings and harnesses vary by vehicle, year and trim, so we confirm what your car takes before ordering rather than guessing. Door treatment and tweeter placement change the result as much as the speaker does. Installation and tuning are priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: How much power can the Ci3 K130.2-S3 handle?
A: 90 W RMS and 135 W max, at 3 ohms.
Q: What is the mounting depth of the Ci3 K130.2-S3?
A: The midbass needs 55.4 mm installation depth and a 116.5 mm cut-out. The tweeter needs 9.8 mm.
Q: What comes in the box with the Ci3 K130.2-S3?
A: 2 x Ci3 T20FM-TI tweeters, 2 x Ci3 W130-S3 midbass, 2 x Ci3 FX-UNI.2 crossovers, 2 x Ci3 FX-WLP.2 lowpass cable crossovers, 2 x tweeter mounting accessories, 2 x COMPOSE Connect Kits and mounting material.
