HELIX COMPOSE primarily uses 3 ohm technology, which is optimised for use with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers for increased efficiency and maximum sound pressure. The Ci3 K165.2FM-S2 is the 2 ohm variant, providing absolute maximum performance when paired with an appropriate amplifier.

Cenosphere paper cone

The cone features a "Cenosphere" coating — hollow spheres incorporated into a polyamide layer applied to the cone surface. This increases stiffness and optimises internal damping, producing an exceptionally stable yet lightweight cone for precise sound reproduction.

High-tech polymer basket

The HELIX COMPOSE i3 speaker baskets are made from a high-tech polymer composite reinforced with glass spheres. This delivers maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, eliminates flux modulation of the magnetic system and resists thermal stress — while keeping basket dimensions compact for easier installation in tight spaces.

The 0.75" / 20 mm titanium dome tweeter combines outstanding stability with low moving mass, high internal damping and strong thermal resistance, producing brilliant, compression-free treble reproduction.

The included Ci3 FX-UNI.2 crossover is tuned specifically for HELIX COMPOSE i3 components. It features a 6-stage tweeter level adjustment with a 12 dB slope and integrated tweeter protection. Its compact dimensions suit tight installation spaces, and it is compatible with COMPOSE Connect and WireKit technologies for safe, polarity-proof connections to automotive standards.

COMPOSE Connect
