Dual 4K dash cam with HDR
The ELITE 10 records at 3840×2160 pixels on both channels using top-of-the-line Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensors. HDR on the front camera produces clear, well-balanced footage in both bright sunlight and low-light conditions, reduces motion blur, and makes licence plates on moving vehicles easier to read.
Both cameras use an 8-element f/1.7 aperture lens with a 146° wide field of view and minimal distortion.
Daily protection with pre-event recording
Motion Detection: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever motion is detected by the front or rear camera. Detection areas can be set manually in the app.
Time Lapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second, so each 1-minute video covers 30 minutes of real time. Recommended for drivers who routinely park in busy areas.
Comprehensive event detection
The built-in G-Sensor and GPS detect and record driving impacts, parking impacts, sudden acceleration, hard braking, sharp turns, and overspeeding.

About the BlackVue BVE102CH256GB
From our tech experts at CEN
The BlackVue Elite 10-2CH 256GB is a two-channel dash cam recording 4K UHD (3840×2160) at 30fps on both front and rear cameras, using Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensors. HDR is active on the front camera, and 256GB microSD storage is included. Built-in dual-band GPS, 5GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth are all on board.
Who it suits
This suits drivers who want dual 4K coverage and park regularly away from home; Motion Detection and Power Saving parking modes are built in. For front-only recording, the Elite 10-1CH 256GB offers the same 4K front performance with a simpler install.
Our tech experts advise
The front camera measures 129.7 × 40 × 55.3mm and weighs 195g; the rear unit is 67 × 29 × 39.1mm at 40g. Both share an 8-element f/1.7 lens with a 146° diagonal field of view. The microSD slot supports cards up to 1TB if you want more recording time. Professional hardwiring at our Beeston workshop is from £100 for a 2-channel camera — see our dash cam installation service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
Q: Does the BlackVue Elite 10-2CH 256GB come with a memory card?
A: Yes. A 256GB microSD card is included in the box, and the camera supports microSD cards up to 1TB.
Q: Do both cameras on the Elite 10-2CH record in 4K?
A: Yes. Front and rear cameras both use Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensors and record 4K UHD at 30fps. HDR is applied to the front camera.
Q: Can I view Elite 10 footage on my phone?
A: Yes. Built-in 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi connects the camera to the BlackVue App. Cloud features need the optional LTE Connectivity Module or a third-party Wi-Fi hotspot.
