4K UHD Dash Cam, Dual 4K Capable, with HDR
The ELITE 10 uses a Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensor recording at 3840 x 2160 pixels. HDR balances exposure across bright and dark areas, reduces motion blur and makes licence plates on moving vehicles easier to read.
The 8-element f/1.7 lens gathers strong light and covers a 146° wide field of view with minimal distortion.
The Best Daily Protection with Pre-Event Recording
Motion Detection: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever motion is detected by the front or rear camera. Detection areas can be set manually in the app.
Time Lapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second, so each 1-minute video covers 30 minutes of real time. Recommended for drivers who regularly park in busy areas.
Comprehensive Event Detection
The built-in G-Sensor and GPS detect and record driving impacts, parking impacts, sudden acceleration, hard braking, sharp turns and overspeeding.

About the BlackVue BVE810CH64GB
From our tech experts at CEN
The BlackVue Elite 10-1CH 64GB is a front-only 4K UHD dash cam (3840 × 2160, 30fps, HDR) powered by a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor. It has an 8-element f/1.7 lens with a 146° diagonal field of view, dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi, built-in GPS and GLONASS, and a 64GB microSD card. Storage expands to 1TB, and an optional 4K rear camera is supported.
Who it suits
This is a good choice for drivers who want front-only 4K recording with the option to add a rear camera later. The ultra-low power parking mode (under 1mA) suits drivers who regularly park away from home. For dual 4K coverage now, see the Elite 10-2CH.
Our tech experts advise
The camera body measures 129.7 × 40 × 55.3mm and weighs 195g, sitting discreetly behind the rear-view mirror. H.265 encoding at up to 60Mbps means a high-endurance microSD card is recommended for continuous recording. Our Beeston workshop fits 1-channel cameras from £60; see dash cam installation for details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
Q: Can I add a rear camera to the BlackVue ELITE 10-1CH?
A: Yes. The ELITE 10-1CH is a front camera with support for an optional 4K rear camera, which is sold separately.
Q: Does the BlackVue ELITE 10-1CH come with a memory card?
A: Yes. This listing includes a 64GB microSD card, and the camera supports microSD cards up to 1TB.
Q: What is included in the box with the ELITE 10-1CH?
A: The front camera, USB-C power cable, hardwiring cable, USB-C 12V adapter, microSD card, double-sided tape for the mounting bracket, a pry tool, three cable clips and an alcohol pad.
