Bring exciting bass to your vehicle with the SWC-D84T6 Subwoofer designed for Volkswagen T6.1 or T6.
The 180 Watt subwoofer come pre-installed in a custom-fit wooden enclosure for installation under the passenger seat to add powerful bass to your existing sound system and is even compatible with the rotary seat of the California camping bus.
Note: a separate amplifier is required to power this subwoofer
Powerful Bass Upgrade
Enjoy strong, powerful bass in your Volkswagen T6.1 or T6 with this 180 Watt subwoofer and make all your audio tracks sound even more exciting. The dual-coil subwoofer comes pre-installed in a sealed wooden enclosure and is designed to be installed under the passenger’s seat of your vehicle. It is also compatible with the rotary seats of the California version, as well as the seating bench of the Caravelle van (installation position for Caravelle with 2-person bench is under the driver’s seat).
Includes Custom Installation Brackets
The SWC-D84T6 includes all required installation brackets to perfectly install the subwoofer below the passenger seat of your Volkswagen T6.1 or T6. A separate amplifier suitable for a dual 2Ohm voice-coil subwoofer with 180 Watts peak power handling is required to use this subwoofer.

Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?
A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?
A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.
