The Morel Elate Carbon Pro 63A is a 6.5-inch 3-way active component speaker system from Morel's high-end Elate Carbon Pro range. It pairs carbon fibre and Rohacell cone woofers, MM3 midranges and the Elate Alto 28mm silk dome tweeter. Supplied without passive crossovers, it is designed for active setups where each driver runs from its own amplifier or DSP channel.
For the passive version with MXT380C crossovers, see the Elate Carbon Pro 63. For the standard Elate Carbon version with the compact MT450 tweeter, see the Elate Carbon 63A.

Carbon and Rohacell Cones
The woofers and midranges use carbon fibre and Rohacell triple-layer cones. Detail stays clean at extreme volume and power handling is high across the full frequency range.
The Elate Alto Tweeter
The cavity-back Alto tweeter leads the Pro series, with its design derived from the Supremo Piccolo, Morel's flagship unit. It delivers both high resolution and high power handling.
DMM and EVC Motor Technology
Morel's DMM double-magnet motor generates more energy than a single-magnet design, raising efficiency and dynamic range while shielding stray magnetic flux. The large-diameter EVC voice coils ensure all available magnetic energy drives the coil directly, keeping the system compact, efficient and powerful.
Built for Active Systems
Each driver connects directly to an amplifier or DSP channel. With no passive crossovers in the signal path, you retain full control over crossover points and tuning.

About the Morel ELATE CARBON PRO 63A
From our tech experts at CEN
The Morel Elate Carbon Pro 63A is a 6.5-inch 3-way active component speaker system. It pairs carbon fibre and Rohacell triple-layer cone woofers rated at 180W RMS with MM3 midranges at 120W RMS and the Elate Alto 28mm Acuflex silk dome tweeter at 220W RMS. No passive crossovers are supplied; each driver is designed to run directly from its own amplifier or DSP channel.
Who it suits
This system suits enthusiasts building a fully active car audio setup with DSP, where crossover points and levels are controlled digitally. If you want a simpler 2-way active option, the Morel Elate Carbon Pro 62A uses the same woofer with fewer channels required.
Our tech experts advise
You will need at least six amplifier channels for a front stage — one each for left and right woofer, midrange and tweeter. Woofer and midrange impedance is 4 ohms; the tweeter is 6 ohms, so check your amplifier before buying. Grilles are included. Installation is priced per vehicle; book a fitting at our Nottingham workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: What is the difference between the Elate Carbon Pro 63A and the standard Elate Carbon 63A?
A: The Pro version uses the cavity-back Elate Alto tweeter, whose design comes from Morel's flagship Supremo Piccolo and which handles 220W RMS. The standard Elate Carbon systems use the compact MT450 tweeter.
Q: Does the Elate Carbon Pro 63A include crossovers?
A: No. It is the active version, supplied without passive crossovers. Each driver connects straight to an amplifier or DSP channel, so you control the crossover settings.
Q: What's in the box with the Elate Carbon Pro 63A?
A: 2 x Elate Carbon Pro 6.5 inch Woofers, 2 x Elate Carbon Pro 3.5 inch MM3 Mid-Ranges, 2 x Elate Carbon Alto 28mm Tweeters and grilles.
