Seamless Connectivity
Six high-level inputs, an optical digital input, the MEC slot and ADEP.3 circuitry give the UP 8DSP MK2 everything needed to adapt to existing multi-channel factory systems. Eight amplifier channels plus the additional RCA line output, managed by the 9-channel DSP, allow a wide range of individual speaker configurations. Channels G–H deliver 160 Watts RMS at 2 Ohms — sufficient for large subwoofers.
Virtual Channel Processing: How Signal Routing Works Today
Adapting to complex multi-channel OEM systems demands intelligent DSP channel management. The UP 8DSP MK2 uses Audiotec Fischer's Virtual Channel Processing to handle this. When front, rear and centre systems are split into multi-way configurations, conventional routing quickly hits its limits. Virtual Channel Processing, used alongside the DSP PC-Tool 5 software, makes it straightforward to map complex system configurations and assign the built-in FX sound features. Combined with the optional MEC ANALOG IN module, it also supports 1-to-1 Input/Output Routing (IOR) where required.
ACO: Advanced 32-Bit CoProcessor Platform
The UP 8DSP MK2 includes the proprietary 32-bit ACO platform, which handles all control tasks and a range of audio functions: Augmented Bass Processing, RealCenter sound effects, and a channel-separated Input EQ with Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) for identifying and compensating for factory radio sound processing.
Compact Dimensions
Despite delivering 6 x 65 Watts at 4 Ohms plus 2 x 90 / 160 Watts at 4 / 2 Ohms across eight channels, the UP 8DSP MK2 measures just 46 x 130 x 153 mm (H x W x D), making it practical for installation in confined spaces.
DSP PC-Tool 5 feat. TuneEQ
The UP 8DSP MK2 is configured using Match's DSP PC-Tool 5 software. It offers precise control over complex system configurations, and the proprietary TuneEQ function automates frequency response correction to speed up the optimisation process.

About the Match M118000
From our tech experts at CEN
A 8-channel amplifier from Match, with a DSP integrated giving 8 processed channels.
Who it suits
Drivers upgrading a factory system who want amplification and tuning in one box. Match is Audiotec Fischer’s OEM-integration brand, and these are designed to take a factory signal and make something of it.
Our tech experts advise
The processing is worth only what the tuning puts into it: measurements in the car, delays for the driving seat, crossovers for your actual drivers. We tune these in the vehicle at our Beeston workshop. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How much power does the MATCH UP 8DSP MK2 deliver?
A: Channels A to F deliver 6 x 65 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms, and channels G and H deliver 2 x 90 Watts at 4 Ohms or 2 x 160 Watts at 2 Ohms, which suits subwoofers.
Q: Can the UP 8DSP MK2 be added to a factory sound system?
A: Yes. It is designed for upgrading multi-channel factory systems, with six high-level inputs using the ADEP.3 circuit, an Input Signal Analyzer and InputEQ, and optional cable harnesses for easier integration.
Q: Can I add a separate subwoofer amplifier to the UP 8DSP MK2?
A: Yes. It has a mono RCA line output (3 Volts RMS) for connecting an external amplifier such as a subwoofer amplifier.
