The Helix DSP Pro MK3 is a 10-channel digital signal processor featuring a 64 Bit audio DSP, 32 Bit AD/DA converters and a 96 kHz signal path. It is part of the Helix DSP range and is designed for high-end car audio systems requiring precise tuning, OEM integration and expandability.

High resolution audio

The Helix DSP Pro MK3 combines a powerful 64 Bit audio DSP with latest-generation AD and DA converters running at a native 32 Bit resolution. An improved internal power supply and a maximum output voltage of 8 V further contribute to sound quality. The audio bandwidth extends to more than 40 kHz, and the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 116 dB on the digital input.

Further innovations

• ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) in the high level input for bypassing factory loudspeaker diagnostic systems
• "Auto Remote" switch for enabling or disabling the automatic turn-on feature of the high level input
• Software-controlled switching between the optical and coaxial inputs

The DSP Pro MK3 includes a Helix Extension Card slot (HEC slot), allowing additional interfaces to be added — such as a Bluetooth® Audio Streaming module or a High Resolution Audio USB soundcard.

The software has been fully revamped alongside the hardware. New features include:

• Increased adjustment range of the time alignment
• Switchable sound options for the DA converters

Configuration is handled via DSP PC-Tool V4 software. If you need fewer channels, the Helix DSP Mini MK2 offers a compact 6-channel alternative within the same Helix DSP family.
