The Edge EDS5-E4 is a pair of 2-way coaxial car speakers in the Edge Street Series, sized 5.25 inch (130mm) and rated at 90W RMS (180W peak) each.
This is the coaxial version. For separate tweeters and better imaging, the EDS5C-E4 component speakers share the same 5.25 inch size and mounting depth.

Edge Street Series 5.25 inch coaxial speakers
Edge's R&D engineers developed the EDS series with the aim of producing the best-sounding speakers in their range, drawing on design elements from Edge's latest pro speakers. The result is a speaker built around precision engineering, balanced components, and extensive testing and tuning.
All coaxial speakers in the EDS range use an oversized tweeter of either 40mm or 50mm. The larger PEI tweeter membrane handles more of the directional sound and extends the bandwidth further than a standard coaxial tweeter.
Sound – High power handling with smooth midbass and vocal reproduction, making these a significant upgrade over factory speakers.
Technology – Oversized PEI tweeter and a large ferrite magnet for enhanced sound output.
Fitment – Multi-fit basket design allows installation in most vehicles.
Styling – Stealthy black finish with Edge's signature orange accents.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?

Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
