This VIOFO A229 Ultra 3CH bundle combines the three-channel dash cam recording 4K front, 4K rear and 1080P infrared cabin footage, all using Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, with a BP100 battery pack and a 512GB microSD card.

The BP100 battery pack powers parking mode from its own 7650mAh LiFePO4 battery, so the car battery is never drained. The 512GB Viofo high-endurance card is ready to record out of the box. The dash cam, BP100 battery pack and VIOFO 512GB microSD card are also sold separately.

Triple Sony STARVIS 2 sensors — less noise, less motion blur

All three channels use Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, providing a wider dynamic range, improved low-light performance and reduced noise and motion blur for clearer footage from every angle.

4K front and 4K rear

High-resolution 4K recording front and rear captures fine details — including number plates — clearly in both directions, giving strong evidence coverage in the event of an incident.

3-channel HDR

Sony STARVIS 2 combined with HDR balances extreme bright and dark areas across all three channels, keeping number plates and key details readable even at speed or in challenging lighting.

210° ultra-wide cabin camera

The Sony STARVIS 2 IMX662 infrared fisheye cabin camera uses four IR LEDs and a 210° field of view to cover the full cabin interior and side windows in low light, reducing blind spots for families and ride-share drivers.

5GHz Wi-Fi

Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) is built in, with the 5GHz band delivering faster data transfer for smoother video preview, download and sharing via the Viofo app.

USB 2.0 port

A USB 2.0 data port connects directly to a smartphone for photo and video downloads at up to 20MB/s (iPhone 16) and for straightforward firmware updates.

Smart voice control and notifications

Voice commands in English, Chinese, Russian and Japanese let you start recording, take photos and toggle Wi-Fi hands-free. The camera also announces settings changes and memory card errors to keep you focused on the road. A Viofo HK4 hardwire cable is available separately to enable parking mode.

Precise quad-mode GPS

The built-in quad-mode GPS module supports GPS, BEIDOU, GALILEO and GLONASS satellite systems for accurate, stable positioning. Location, speed and time data are embedded in recordings and viewable in the Viofo app or on a computer. A Viofo 512GB U3 A2 V30 microSD card is available separately for maximum storage capacity.

BP100 Battery Pack for Parking Mode

The Viofo BP100 is a 12.8V 7650mAh (98Wh) LiFePO4 battery pack that powers the dash cam in parking mode for up to around 32 hours on a single-channel camera, without touching the car battery. It recharges in about 70 minutes when hardwired or around 100 minutes from the cigarette lighter, and its Bluetooth link to the Viofo app shows charge level and temperature alerts. Hardwiring cables are included, so no separate hardwire kit is needed.
