The Viofo T340 is a three-channel dash cam recording 4K 30fps at the front, 2K 30fps from a built-in infrared cabin camera, and 2K 30fps from a separate rear window camera. It is part of Viofo's T-series range.
The cabin camera is built into the main unit, so only the rear camera needs a separate cable. Versions with a waterproof exterior rear camera and a telephoto camera are also available.

4K clarity and detail
Records at 4K 30fps with HDR. Distant number plates and fast-moving vehicles are captured clearly, giving you solid evidence when it matters. A Viofo 512 GB U3 A2 V30 endurance microSD card is recommended to get the most from the high-resolution output.
Cabin and side windows in view
The 210° ultra-wide built-in cabin camera records the entire interior and side windows in 2K detail. Built-in IR LEDs provide clear footage day and night, making it well suited to rideshare drivers and families.
Clear 2K rear recording
The rear camera records in 2K with HDR, keeping glare and shadows balanced. It provides reliable evidence against tailgating and rear-end incidents.

Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
Q: Does the T340 3CH record the cabin at night?
A: Yes. The cabin camera is built into the main unit, has infrared LEDs and records in 2K with a 210° field of view, covering the cabin and side windows day or night.
Q: How long is the rear camera cable on the T340 3CH?
A: The rear camera cable supplied in the box is 6 metres long, and the car charger cable is 3.5 metres.
Q: Does the T340 3CH have a screen?
A: No. It is a screenless design. You view and download footage with the VIOFO app over Wi-Fi 6.
