The Match PP 7E-D is an extremely compact enclosed subwoofer housing two 6.5" (16.5 cm) long-excursion dual voice coil woofers, rated at 200 W RMS / 400 W max. It is part of the Match Plug & Play range, optimised for use with Match Plug & Play DSP amplifiers.

MATCH PP 7E-D
The PP 7E-D pairs with Match Plug & Play amplifiers to deliver deep, powerful bass even from a small enclosure. The DSP technology in the amplifier works in combination with these woofers to extract maximum acoustic performance — results that would not be achievable with either component alone.
It can also be connected via the subwoofer connector on Match Plug & Play harnesses such as the PP-VAG 1.6 Quadlock harness.

Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
