HELIX M ONE 1-channel Class D amplifier

The M ONE is a highly compact monoblock designed for subwoofer use. Built on Class D technology, it handles 1 ohm impedance with ease, making it an ideal match for 2 × 2 ohm subwoofers wired in parallel. Its small footprint and minimal dimensions keep installation straightforward.

Features

  • 600W RMS at 1 ohm — ideal for 2 × 2 ohm subwoofers connected in parallel
  • Start-Stop capability with stable operation down to 6V supply voltage
  • Smart highlevel input with ADEP (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) and auto turn-on
  • Integrated active crossover with lowpass, bass boost, subsonic and phase control
  • Extremely stable output stage with high-current power transistors and 1 ohm stability
  • Bass remote control for volume adjustment
  • SMD (Surface Mounted Device) construction for compact size and maximum reliability
  • Illuminated HELIX logo and low heat dissipation thanks to high efficiency

Smart highlevel input

Modern OE head units can diagnose connected speakers and often throw fault messages or lose features such as fader control when a standard amplifier is connected. The ADEP (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) circuit in the M ONE prevents these issues without placing unnecessary load on the head unit's speaker outputs at high volumes.

Start-Stop capability

The M ONE's switched-mode power supply keeps the amplifier running even when battery voltage drops to 6V during engine crank, making it fully compatible with Start-Stop vehicle systems.

About the Helix HA11107

From our tech experts at CEN

A monoblock subwoofer amplifier, rated at 600w RMS.

Who it suits

Anyone adding a subwoofer to a processed system and wanting the bass driven properly.

Our tech experts advise

Matching matters more than headline watts: the amplifier has to suit the drivers, the gains want setting with a meter, and the power feed needs fusing at the battery on the correct gauge. Installation and tuning are priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?

A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.

Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?

A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.

Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?

A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.

Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?

A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.

Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?

A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.

Q: How much power does the HELIX M ONE produce?

A: It delivers 1 x 600W RMS at 1 ohm, 1 x 410W RMS at 2 ohms and 1 x 240W RMS at 4 ohms, and up to 720W RMS at 1 ohm in typical subwoofer applications.

Q: Can the M ONE connect to a factory radio without RCA outputs?

A: Yes. It has highlevel speaker inputs with ADEP (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) and automatic turn-on, designed to avoid error messages from modern factory radios.

Q: Does the M ONE come with a bass remote?

A: Yes. A cable remote control for bass volume is included, along with mounting material and an instruction manual.
