9.4M 4"/100 mm high-end cone midrange

The magnet pole yoke is designed using magnetic flux analysis software to achieve uniform saturation of the magnetic gap, reducing distortion and increasing dynamics.

A pure copper ring in the air gap reduces voice coil inductance, improving high-frequency accuracy and the speaker's ability to reproduce transient sound pulses cleanly.

TCA controls airflow moved by the cone, creating aperiodic damping resistance. This releases energy from speaker movement in a controlled, fast manner without persistent oscillations, improving accuracy and fidelity to the source.

Construction

• Twin coupled neodymium magnets: high-temperature resistant, high-grade neodymium magnets forming one of the most powerful motor structures available for a midrange of this size, while keeping the magnetic motor compact.
• Pole plate CNC machined from a solid piece of ultra-low-carbon steel.
• Gold-plated built-in terminals accept large gauge cables, preventing power loss from the amplifier.
• Die-cast aluminium, powder-coated basket: very low air resistance, with shape verified by FEM analysis to reduce vibration and resonance.
• Wide, lightweight Nomex voice coil with aluminium winding for broad bandwidth extension.
• Large balanced Conex spider damper ensures linear excursion in both directions, reducing distortion.

Carbon cone, surround and dust cap

The cone is high-modulus carbon moulded under vacuum and autoclave — a costly process rarely used in speakers, but one that delivers natural reproduction and high transient dynamics.

The NBR rubber surround is shaped for smooth movement at low excursion, becoming progressively more controlled as excursion approaches its limit. This contributes to high dynamic capability and power handling.

The laminated aluminium dust cap extends the frequency response upward and helps equalise and linearise it. A CNC-machined aluminium ring secures the rubber suspension at the edge, ensuring precise fastening and centring.
