Wavtech Link700.4 Plus — overview
The Link700.4 Plus is a versatile 4-channel amplifier built for upgrading factory audio systems. Like the mini-series multi-channel amplifiers, it features built-in summing — but the wider chassis allows 6-channel input, so you can sum a 3-way OEM system and get front and rear full-range output, plus an RCA Pre-Out for a separate subwoofer amplifier. Output is 100W x 4 RMS at 4 ohms, 175W x 4 RMS at 2 ohms, or 350W x 2 RMS bridged at 4 ohms.
The Link700.4 Plus includes Wavtech's bassFREQ processor on the RCA Pre-Out, with 24dB/octave low-pass and subsonic filters plus a fully adjustable 1-band parametric EQ. Channels 3/4 or the RCA Pre-Out can be controlled with the optional Wavtech linkRC remote level control (sold separately).

About the Wavtech LINK700.4PLUS
From our tech experts at CEN
A 4-channel amplifier from Wavtech.
Who it suits
Drivers whose speakers have outgrown the head unit. Wavtech specialises in the awkward part of modern installs: getting a usable signal out of a factory system.
Our tech experts advise
Matching matters more than headline watts, and gains want setting with a meter rather than by ear. It needs a fused feed from the battery on the correct cable gauge. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How powerful is the Wavtech link700.4plus?
A: It produces 100 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms or 175 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms. In bridged (BTL) mode it delivers 350 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms.
Q: Can the link700.4plus work with a factory 3-way system?
A: Yes. It has built-in summing for 6 channels of input, so you can sum a 3-way OEM system and get front and rear full-range output, plus an RCA Pre-Out for a subwoofer amplifier. Adaptive OEM load technology and auto turn-on via DC-offset or audio signal detect are built in.
Q: Is the link700.4plus compatible with start/stop systems?
A: Yes. It is start/stop system compatible and stable down to 7 volts.
