Heavy-duty marine construction
The TS-MR1600 is built to withstand the harshest outdoor environments. Its water-resistant IMPP composite cone delivers strong mid-bass response while resisting salt water, humidity and extreme heat. The elastomer surround resists colour fading and running over time.
An Acrylonitrile-Elastomer Styrene (AES) glass fibre reinforced basket protects the magnetic circuit. The matching pure white AES grilles resist fading and yellowing from direct sunlight and heat, keeping the speakers looking clean long-term.
Gold tinsel wire and gold-plated terminals prevent corrosion and maintain clean audio signal transfer throughout the speaker's life.
