Extremely flat enclosures require careful engineering to prevent unwanted cabinet vibration. On the IK ES10.1-DVC2, the subwoofer's magnet system is bolted directly to the rear panel for added reinforcement.

The enclosure uses the Helix IK S10-DVC2 250 mm shallow-mount subwoofer chassis, featuring a heavy-duty dual voice coil and a rigid sandwich paper cone that converts amplifier power efficiently into high sound pressure with accurate bass reproduction.

Flexible connectivity

The dual voice coil design gives flexibility when choosing a power amplifier. Configurations of 1 x 4 ohms, 2 x 2 ohms or 1 x 1 ohm are all supported via the connection terminal.
