This VIOFO VS1 Mini bundle combines the compact, screenless 2K front dash cam with a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor, HDR, 5GHz Wi-Fi, GPS and voice control with the HK5 hardwire kit.
The HK5 is VIOFO's hardwire kit for the VS1, powering the camera from the fuse box for parking mode. A memory card is not included; the VS1 Mini 128GB bundle adds one, or choose the VIOFO 128GB microSD card separately. The dash cam is also sold on its own.

The VS1 Mini's compact, screenless body tucks neatly behind your rear-view mirror, keeping the road view clear. The Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor and 2K HDR keep number plates readable day and night, and a 180° rotatable bracket lets you mount it on the front or rear windscreen.

Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
Q: What is included in the VS1 Mini hardwire bundle?
A: You get the VS1 Mini dash cam, car charger, USB-C data cable, mount sticky pad, trim tool and static stickers, plus the HK5 hardwire kit. A microSD card is not included.
Q: Why the HK5 hardwire kit?
A: The HK5 is VIOFO's hardwire kit made for the VS1. It connects the camera to your fuse box for constant power, enabling auto event detection, time-lapse and low bitrate parking modes.
Q: Does the VS1 Mini have a screen?
A: No. The VS1 Mini is screenless to stay compact behind the mirror. You set it up and review footage in the VIOFO app over 5GHz Wi-Fi.
