The A329S uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 1/1.8" 8MP sensor, delivering greater clarity and detail, reduced noise in low light and less motion blur at speed.

Sony STARVIS 2 combined with HDR balances bright and dark areas, revealing detail and capturing accurate number plates even in fast motion.

The A329S records ultra-smooth 4K at 60fps. Switch to 4K 30fps for HDR recording.
Faster 4K streaming and downloads
Wi-Fi 6 triples transfer speeds on the 5GHz band for smoother previewing, downloading and sharing. A one-minute 4K clip transfers to your phone in under 10 seconds.
Smart voice control
Spoken commands start recording, take a photo, or toggle Wi-Fi, in multiple languages. The A329S also announces setting changes and memory card errors aloud so you always know its status.
Accurate GPS tracking
The built-in GPS module supports four satellite systems: GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS. Footage played back in the Viofo app or PC player includes location, speed and time data.
Upgraded USB 3.0 port
Connect directly to your phone via USB 3.0 and transfer photos and clips at up to 55MB/s. The same connection handles firmware updates — no card reader required.
Up to 4TB SSD storage
Connect a portable SSD of up to 4TB for extended recording capacity. The A329S automatically backs up footage from the microSD card to the SSD, reducing wear on the card and preserving important clips on a larger drive. A Viofo 512GB U3 A2 V30 endurance microSD card is available separately. For parking mode use, the Viofo HK6 hardwire cable is the matching kit for the A329S, also available with an 8-piece fuse set.

A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
