A compact 2A battery charger, maintainer and desulfator for 6V and 12V lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, including flooded, gel, AGM, maintenance-free and lithium chemistries. Suits automotive, marine, deep-cycle and powersport batteries.

Improved performance over the previous NOCO G1100.

Multi-voltage, multi-chemistry, multi-battery type

Charges 6V and 12V batteries across multiple chemistries — flooded, gel, maintenance-free and AGM — and multiple battery types including starter, deep-cycle, marine and powersport.

Powerful, efficient and compact

High-frequency switch-mode technology converts AC power into safe DC power efficiently. An onboard microcomputer controls charging precisely to minimise power loss, resulting in a compact form factor despite the 2A output.

Improved start voltage sensor and force mode for dead batteries

The start-voltage sensor detects and charges dead batteries down to 1V. For batteries below 1V, force mode can be enabled manually to charge batteries down to 0V.

Redesigned clamps with improved clamping range and force

Needle-nose clamps suit smaller terminal applications and include detachable integrated eyelets for permanent mounting. They are designed to fit terminals of any shape and size, with improved clamping range, clamping force and higher conductivity.

The NOCO GENIUS2 is a 2A smart charger, maintainer and desulfator for 6V and 12V lead-acid and lithium batteries. It charges batteries up to 40Ah and maintains all sizes, so it covers motorcycles and small cars as well as long-term maintenance on a larger battery. It replaces the older NOCO G1100.

Who it suits

Anyone with a car, bike or boat that sits for weeks at a time. It has twice the output of the GENIUS1; for bigger batteries that need charging from flat, the GENIUS5 handles up to 120Ah.

Our tech experts advise

It is rated IP65 and comes with a mounting bracket, strap and screws, so it can live permanently on a garage wall. The clamps have integrated M6 eyelets that can be fitted to the battery for quick plug-in charging. Force mode will start charging a battery that has dropped below 1V.
