KMC4 Marine Media Centre
The Kicker KMC4 marine digital media receiver uses a 9cm/3" full-colour display to control two zones of audio on your boat. Large buttons are easy to see and operate even when wearing gloves. The IPX66-rated watertight face and built-in Bluetooth for music streaming make it a practical source unit for marine installations.
The KMC4 runs a 2 ohm stable amp delivering >150 watts RMS at 2 ohms. The sunlight-viewable 9cm/3" LCD shows artist name, album art, track and title data. A 6-band EQ with 5 presets gives you precise control over your sound.
Equipped with an AM/FM and weather-band tuner, Bluetooth audio and handsfree, and RCA and charging USB inputs, the KMC4 handles any source. Front and rear RCA outputs plus subwoofer and Zone 2 outputs make it straightforward to expand your system with a dedicated amplifier such as the Kicker KEY200.4. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: Are the Kicker MSC65 speakers waterproof?
A: They are IP66 certified and meet or exceed ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure, with corrosion-resistant waterproof connectors and 316L stainless mounting hardware.
Q: Do the MSC65 speakers have lights?
A: Yes. Integrated RGBW LED lighting is standard, letting you choose from a wide range of colours.
Q: Which grille colours come with the Kicker 51MSC65?
A: Both white and charcoal grilles are included in the box.
