The Kicker 48KMC6 is a marine digital media receiver from Kicker's KMC marine media centre range. It delivers six channels of power across two zones with up to 240W of amplified audio, a full-colour 9cm LCD display, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and NMEA 2000 connectivity.

KMC6 Marine Media Centre
The Kicker KMC6 marine digital media receiver provides six channels of power across two zones, making it one of the most versatile marine receivers available. A full-colour 9cm display gives control over both audio zones. The receiver includes a video input for connecting an onboard camera — useful for mooring assistance, engine bay safety or ski/wakeboard safety. Large, clearly marked buttons are straightforward to operate even when wearing gloves.

Digital Radio
The KMC6 features built-in DAB Digital Radio, providing access to a wider selection of radio stations. It is the first Kicker marine radio to offer DAB technology. Radio station and track artwork is displayed directly on screen.
Camera Input
The KMC6 includes a camera/video input suited to docking, water sports and engine room monitoring. Camera not included.
Music Sources
Stream music via Bluetooth from a smartphone, connect a player to the rear AUX input, or plug a thumb drive into the rear USB port. The AM/FM tuner covers local radio stations. If you plan to add an amplifier — such as the Kicker KEY200.4 four-channel amplifier — the eight rear-mounted preamp outputs and customisable EQ with five presets will be particularly useful.
NMEA
The Kicker KMC6 is NMEA 2000 certified and compatible with a range of leading Multi-Function Displays for on-screen audio control. When pairing the KMC5 with a supported MFD (chart plotter) or fish finder, you can skip tracks and adjust volume directly from the main screen while keeping an eye on charts or sonar.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?

A: Yes. Integrated RGBW LED lighting is standard, letting you choose from a wide range of colours.
Q: Which grille colours come with the Kicker 51MSC65?
