The JBL Stage1 62F 6.5" Coaxial Car Speakers are designed to improve sound quality over standard factory-installed speakers. Featuring a 2-way coaxial design, each speaker combines a durable polypropylene woofer with a balanced dome tweeter, delivering clear high frequencies and smooth, balanced audio performance.
Engineered for efficiency, the Stage1 series speakers offer high sensitivity, allowing them to produce strong output even when powered by factory head units. This makes them an ideal entry-level upgrade for improving your car audio system without requiring an external amplifier.
With approximately 40W RMS and 200W peak power handling per speaker, along with a frequency response of around 55Hz – 20kHz, the Stage1 62F speakers provide consistent and reliable performance across a wide frequency range.
The 6.5 inch (165mm) size makes them suitable for most vehicle door speaker locations. This version is supplied without speaker grilles, making it perfect for installations where factory grilles are retained or where a clean OEM look is required.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
