JBL Stage3 6427
4x6" 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers | 35W RMS
The JBL Stage3 6427 4x6" Coaxial Car Speakers are designed to provide a noticeable upgrade in sound quality compared to factory-installed speakers. Featuring a 2-way coaxial design, each speaker combines a woofer and tweeter in a compact unit, delivering improved clarity, smoother mids and enhanced high-frequency detail.
JBL’s Plus One™ polypropylene woofer cone technology increases cone surface area, improving efficiency and delivering better midbass performance compared to standard OEM speakers. Paired with edge-driven dome tweeters, these speakers produce smooth, extended high-frequency response for a more balanced listening experience.
With 35W RMS and 175W peak power handling per speaker, along with a frequency response of approximately 75Hz – 20kHz, the Stage3 6427 speakers provide reliable and dynamic performance. Their high sensitivity (~91dB) and 3-ohm impedance help extract more power from factory head units, resulting in louder, clearer sound without the need for an amplifier.
The 4x6 inch size makes these speakers ideal for vehicles with oval speaker openings in dashboards or doors. Designed for durability and easy installation, they are a practical upgrade for improving overall sound clarity and performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
