About the Hertz HRC 02

From our tech experts at CEN

The Hertz HRC 02 is a compact wired subwoofer level remote for Hertz Cento and Dieci amplifiers, giving -20 to +6 dB of adjustment through a Molex connector. It comes with the control knob, an extension cable and screws, and can be tape-mounted, screw-mounted or recessed.

Who it suits

Owners of a Hertz Cento or Dieci subwoofer amplifier who want bass level at the driving seat. It is not compatible with the Dieci DBA 201 or DBA 201 F active subwoofers, which use the HRC 01. For Mille ML Power amplifiers and the HMP 1D, see the HRC BM.

Our tech experts advise

Confirm your amplifier has a remote port before ordering. Set the gain with the knob at 0 dB so the remote trims the level rather than adds to it, as running at +6 dB constantly costs headroom. Recessed mounting gives the neatest finish if there is space behind the panel. See car audio installation.
