Dynamat DynaCore 1/2" (part 11901) is a 12mm self-adhesive black fibre thermo-acoustic absorber for engine compartments, bonnets, marine and RV use, with excellent low-frequency absorption and heat resistance to 350°F. One 32" x 54" sheet covers 12 sq.ft (1.11 sq.m).

DynaCore 1/2" Black Thermo-Acoustic Fibre
DynaCore is a noise and heat absorber built around a black fibre core. It dissipates sound waves and absorbs heat whilst remaining lightweight, flexible, compressible and thermally insulating.
The black fibre core delivers excellent low-frequency absorption, thermal resistance to 350°F, and meets UL94, MVSS 302, UL HF1 and UL HBF standards.

Q: How much sound deadening do I need for my car?
A: As a guide, a pair of front doors takes around 1 to 1.5 square metres, and a full car between 4 and 6 square metres depending on coverage. The sheet coverage for this product is listed in the Specification tab.

A: Doors give the biggest gain for both road noise and speaker performance, followed by the boot floor and wheel arches. Even a doors-only install noticeably tightens speaker bass.
