The DJI Neo 2 Motion Fly More Combo delivers an immersive, stabilised drone flying experience with intuitive motion control and first-person viewing. Imaging and intelligent tracking

The Neo 2’s FocusTrack combines three tracking modes (ActiveTrack, Spotlight, and Point of Interest) to keep subjects framed naturally in any scene. ActiveTrack automatically follows moving subjects, with a new Cycling option for curved paths. Spotlight keeps the camera locked on the subject while you manually control flight direction, and Point of Interest circles around the chosen target for dynamic motion. The 12MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor captures 4K/60fps and 4K/100fps footage with low noise, while the 2-axis gimbal and EIS maintain sharp, stable results in every frame.

Creative shooting options

The DJI Neo 2 includes a full suite of automated camera functions that expand creative control. Smart shooting modes such as MasterShots, QuickShots, and Dolly Zoom simplify complex cinematic movements, allowing the drone to plan and execute dynamic flight paths automatically. These modes capture professional-quality shots with consistent framing, movement, and focus transitions, helping you produce polished footage without manual piloting or post-production adjustments.

Flight control and handling

The DJI Neo 2 Fly More Combo supports both hand-based and traditional flight control. Palm Takeoff & Landing and Gesture Control simplify solo operation, while the RC-N3 controller provides responsive manual flight with precision joysticks, a dedicated gimbal dial, and extended range. The drone can also be operated via voice commands or virtually in the DJI Fly app. This flexibility enables seamless switching between quick, spontaneous capture and extended aerial filming.

Safety and design

The omnidirectional obstacle-sensing system integrates monocular vision, LiDAR, and infrared sensors to analyse the surroundings in real time. Together with the full-coverage propeller guards, it provides dual-layer protection when flying near people or objects. The lightweight 151g body maintains stability in winds up to 10.7 m/s, while the Versatile Flight system enhances hovering accuracy over complex surfaces such as water or snow. Know the rules!

The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight—where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera, regardless of weight, will require an Operator ID. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones weighing 250g and over. Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
