The Mini 5 Pro's 50MP 1-inch CMOS sensor and f/1.8 aperture deliver high-quality aerial imaging in a compact body. New image-processing technology and intelligent algorithms preserve detail in low light. The drone supports 4K/60fps HDR with up to 14 stops of dynamic range, 4K/120fps slow-motion, and 10-bit H.265 encoding for refined colour grading.

D-Log M and HLG modes are supported, with colour ISO up to 3200 and an extended ceiling of 12800 for low-light conditions. The 48mm Med-Tele mode with 2x zoom adds depth to portraits and landscapes.

Know the rules

UK drone regulations are changing from 1 January 2026, introducing a new class-marking system (UK0–UK6) and updated operating categories based on risk, location, and proximity to people. Any drone weighing 100 g or more will require a Flyer ID; if it has a camera, an Operator ID is also needed. Legacy drones remain legal but may face stricter distance limits unless upgraded or replaced with class-marked models. Remote ID will become mandatory for many drones, broadcasting identification and location data during flight.

For commercial operations, drones must carry the appropriate class markings, pilots must hold the relevant qualifications (such as the A2 CofC or Operational Authorisation for higher-risk flights), and valid third-party insurance is required.
