The DJI Mic 3 is built for portability. The all-in-one kit includes two transmitters, one receiver and a compact charging case. Each transmitter is lightweight and attaches via magnetic or clip-on methods. A detachable, rotatable clip lets you adjust the microphone angle — clipped sideways or inverted — for optimal sound capture. The receiver features an intuitive 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen for adjusting gain, viewing battery status and selecting modes. Settings can also be changed via the DJI Mimo app.

The charging case holds two transmitters, one receiver and necessary accessories, keeping gear organised and ready to use. Transmitters can be stored with a windscreen and clip or magnet attached for a quick return to recording.

Advanced audio features for customisable sound

Adaptive gain control offers Automatic and Dynamic modes to prevent distortion or clipping in dynamic environments. Three voice tone presets give you further control: Regular for clean, balanced sound; Rich to emphasise low-end frequencies; and Bright to boost higher frequencies for added clarity. Two levels of noise cancelling — Basic and Strong — let you adapt to both quiet studios and noisy outdoor locations.

Reliable performance and consistent audio quality

The receiver supports Mono or Stereo (dual-channel) output modes. Dual-band transmission (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) keeps audio stable in crowded RF environments. With Lossless Audio enabled, the transmitter delivers 48 kHz, 24-bit transmission without compression. Dual-file 32-bit float internal recording captures both the original audio track and an automatically corrected version, so no audio is lost even in fluctuating conditions. Internal recording also works independently of the wireless connection for added reliability on the move.

All-day power with convenient charging

The transmitter lasts up to 8 hours and the receiver up to 10 hours on a single charge. The compact charging case extends total use to up to 28 hours. A quick charge function provides up to 2 hours of use from just a 5-minute charge. Intelligent power-saving includes automatic power-off after inactivity, and the receiver can be charged while in use — useful during long shoots or live streams.

Broad device compatibility

The transmitter connects directly to smartphones via Bluetooth for recording or live streaming without an additional receiver. The receiver includes a locking 3.5 mm TRS port for cameras, a 3.5 mm TRRS port for real-time monitoring and a USB-C port for charging while recording. The transmitter also connects directly to DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 — including the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 — providing premium audio without a receiver.
