The beginning of a new era
Digital signal processing has long been part of the Brax world via the legendary Brax DSP, but analogue amplification was always considered the benchmark. The Brax Revelation RX2 PRO changes that — a digital amplifier that outperforms everything before it in the car audio segment.
"As a passionate musician with over 45 years of success in the audio industry, I never thought Class D technology could ever compete with analogue. But let me be clear: the Brax Revelation RX2 PRO takes my breath away. The level of audiophile performance this amplifier delivers is out of this world and elevates Brax's commitment to uncompromising sound to a new level. I am convinced that this technological masterpiece will open the eyes of even the most dedicated analogue enthusiasts to a new era of high-end amplification."

- Modular input concept — choose between analogue or digital input modules.
- Digital stereo input module — ESS ES9039Q2M DAC with a dedicated ESS-developed voltage regulator per channel for low-noise, stable power. Optical and coaxial SPDIF inputs with DiSAC 2.0 support for lossless volume control via the Brax DSP.
- Regulated, start-stop-capable power supply — 67 electrolytic capacitors for maximum peak current capability; separate voltage regulators for each input and driver stage; suitable up to 18 V for electric vehicles.
- Damping factor over 10,000 @ 4 Ω across the entire audio band — not just at 1 kHz — ensuring maximum speaker control and unrivalled audio precision.
- Compact footprint — same dimensions as a Brax DSP; nearly 40% more compact than a GX2000, and 66% smaller than an MX4 PRO.
- 8-layer PCB — maximum loss-free current flow and optimum isolation of sensitive input signals from power stages.
- Finest selected components throughout — for maximum consistency and durability.
- Complex protection circuits — optimum protection for the amplifier and connected speakers under all load and temperature conditions.
- Processor and temperature-regulated fan — maintains ideal operating temperature.
- Separate connector for the Brax Power Stabiliser — for increased power supply and improved peak performance.
- Massive aluminium alloy heat sink — optimum heat dissipation for continuously high performance.
- Engraved serial number on stainless steel type plate — emphasising the exclusivity of each unit.
The new benchmark in sound quality — PURIFI EIGENTAKT technology
Developed in close collaboration with Danish manufacturer PURIFI, the RX2 PRO is built on their patented EIGENTAKT technology and dispels all previous prejudices against digital amplification. THD+N, intermodulation and signal-to-noise ratio are so extraordinary that only the most expensive measurement systems can accurately capture them.
The Multi-Stage Feedback principle uses several extremely broadband, ultra-fast feedback loops to compensate for all non-linearities — including the output relays, which have their own control loop to equalise their minimal contact resistance. The LC output filter required for Class D is incorporated into these feedback loops, completely compensating for its impact on distortion and output impedance.
The result: a damping factor of over 10,000 @ 4 Ω across the entire audio band, and a frequency response that remains perfectly linear to 60 kHz at all impedances — regardless of which speakers are connected. Pair the RX2 PRO with high-end drivers such as the Brax Graphic GL6 MK2 mid-woofers to take full advantage of this precision.
Advanced power supply design
The RX2 PRO's power supply is regulated, delivering a constant voltage to the output stages independent of battery voltage — ensuring full start-stop capability and compatibility with EV onboard networks up to 18 V. Sixty-seven electrolytic capacitors provide enormous total capacity for massive impulse current delivery on demand.
An 8-layer PCB minimises internal resistance for loss-free current flow, while the sophisticated layout ensures high currents have no influence on sensitive input or feedback signals.
Flexible input options with first-class signal processing
The digital input module features both optical and coaxial SPDIF inputs and an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC — achieving a signal-to-noise ratio of 130 dB and a distortion figure of -117 dB (0.00014%). A dual voltage regulator developed specifically by ESS supplies each channel separately with extremely low-noise, stable operating

About the Brax 12300D
From our tech experts at CEN
A 2-channel amplifier from Brax.
Who it suits
Drivers whose speakers have outgrown the head unit. Brax is the flagship of the Audiotec Fischer stable, built without much regard for cost.
Our tech experts advise
Matching matters more than headline watts, and gains want setting with a meter rather than by ear. It needs a fused feed from the battery on the correct cable gauge. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: What is the difference between the analog and digital RX2 PRO?
A: Both share the same amplifier. The analog version has a super-balanced 2 x RCA input module; the digital version has an ESS DAC module with optical and coaxial SPDIF inputs and supports BRAX DiSAC 2.0 volume control.
Q: Is the RX2 PRO suitable for electric vehicles?
A: Yes. Its regulated power supply is start-stop capable and handles on-board voltages up to 18 V found in many electric vehicles.
Q: How much power does the RX2 PRO produce?
A: 2 x 300 W at 4 Ohms, 2 x 510 W at 2 Ohms, or 1 x 930 W bridged at 4 Ohms.
