Carbon fleece multilayer cone: light, rigid and resonance-free

The carbon fleece multilayer cone was developed in collaboration with specialist Dr. Kurt Müller. Its layered carbon structure combines extreme stiffness with minimal mass, reducing unwanted resonances. A reinforcement collar on the rear at the surround transition increases torsional stiffness and prevents deformation at high excursion levels. The straight cone geometry at the voice coil former optimises power transfer and ensures precise, controlled sound radiation.

Copper cap for maximum linearity

The copper cap on the pole core generates controlled eddy currents that damp magnetic field fluctuations, reduce voice coil inductance, linearise high-frequency impedance and lower distortion. The result is a smoother frequency response, higher efficiency and natural reproduction across the upper frequency range.

The magnet system provides stable, symmetrical magnetic flux for strong impulse fidelity and dynamics across the full frequency range. The aluminium die-cast basket minimises airflow turbulence and maintains thermal stability with minimal compression at high output levels.
