About the CEN UP-CAM-FD2
From our tech experts at CEN
The UP-CAM-FD2 is an OEM-style brake light reversing camera for the Ford Transit Courier (2023 onwards). It replaces the original high-level brake light housing, supporting CVBS, AHD 720P and AHD 1080P output, while maintaining the factory appearance. The IP68-rated housing is flame-retardant and built for all-weather use.
Who it suits
This camera suits Ford Transit Courier owners who want improved rear visibility without changing the van's appearance. It works well for tradespeople, delivery drivers and campervan builds where a factory-fit look matters. If you drive a Ford Transit rather than a Courier, see our Ford Transit brake light camera.
Our tech experts advise
Output resolution depends on your monitor: only an AHD-compatible display will show 720P or 1080P; a standard CVBS monitor will receive the CVBS signal. Parking guidelines and mirror mode are both selectable during setup. Fitting requires replacing the brake light housing, so installation is priced per vehicle — visit our Nottingham fitting page for details.
