HOW A BLOC POWER BATTERY WORKS

When your vehicle is running, the ACC (accessory) power source charges the BLOC POWER battery and your dash cam. When the ignition is switched off, ACC power stops and BLOC POWER automatically takes over—maintaining continuous power to your dash cam.

• In conventional installations, where the dash cam draws
• directly from the vehicle’s main battery, recording time is
• typically limited to 1–3 hours – often less depending on
• battery condition. This is rarely sufficient for overnight protection.

With BLOC POWER integrated into your system, parking mode recording time is significantly extended (see Runtime Guide on page 4), while eliminating drain on your vehicle’s battery. This supports reliable engine starts and helps preserve long-term battery health.

BLOC POWER also reduces the risk of interference with sensitive onboard electronics, including the ECU, thanks to its isolated power architecture. Installation is simpler than traditional hardwiring, with enhanced control and power management throughout

BLOC POWER BATTERY RUNTIME

Your BLOC POWER battery can power your dash cam in Parking Mode for up to 35 hours (B2) or 50 hours (B3). Actual run times will vary depending on the dash cam model, number of channels, and user settings.

The table below provides an approximate guide for typical single and dual channel dash cam systems.

EXPANSION

BLOC POWER features expandable power capability for extended performance. By connecting a second battery pack, total capacity and Parking Mode recording time can be increased.

A maximum of two batteries can be linked. B2 model can be combined within the same setup.

To connect two batteries, the optional BLOC POWER Expansion Cable is required.
