Voce
The Audison Voce range is designed to work in close synergy with Audison amplifiers, bringing a high level of refinement to in-car audio reproduction. The AV K6 and AV K5 kits were awarded the EISA Award for European In-Car Speaker System 2010–2011, recognising the advanced technologies built into these components.
- Tetolon dome tweeter — a silk and cotton blend with proprietary damping treatment — delivers low mass and resonance-free response up to ultrasonic frequencies.
- CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil wound on a double layer for high efficiency and crisp, dynamic sound.
- Annular Rear Damping Chamber geometry with proprietary damping material extends low-frequency response and reduces harmonic distortion.
- High-flux-density Neodymium magnet for high efficiency and detailed sound.
- Aerodynamic basket spoke profile with open-air design reduces back-wave reflections.
- Butyl rubber Triple Wave surround provides full linearity and reliable performance under extreme conditions.
- Cotton-fibre pressed paper cone with treatment.
- Radial Venting System ensures high thermal capability, power handling and long-term reliability.
The AV K6 brings together Audison's full R&D expertise into a component kit designed to deliver wide bandwidth, natural dynamics and fine detail in a front-stage installation. If you're looking for a step-down option, the Audison Prima APK 165P is a 6.5" 2-way component set rated at 115W RMS from Audison's Prima range.

About the Audison AV K6
From our tech experts at CEN
The Audison Voce AV K6 is a 6.5" (165mm) 2-way component speaker kit, rated at 125W RMS and 250W peak at 4 ohms. Each pair includes AV 6.5 woofers, AV 1.1 28mm Tetolon dome tweeters, passive crossovers, mounts and grilles. It uses a neodymium magnet, CCAW voice coil and cotton-fibre cone to cover 50Hz to 22kHz.
Who it suits
The AV K6 suits enthusiasts building a refined front stage who want natural dynamics and fine detail. It is designed to work in close synergy with an Audison amplifier. For a step-down 6.5" component option, see the Audison Prima APK 165.
Our tech experts advise
Confirm your door's mounting depth and 165mm cutout clearance before fitting. The passive crossover offers tweeter level adjustment at +2, 0 or −2dB for soundstage tuning. These speakers reward amplifier power; running them from a factory head unit limits their potential. Installation is priced per vehicle — see our car audio installation page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: What is in the box with the Audison AV K6?
A: The AV K6 woofers, crossovers, tweeters with mounts, grilles and screws.
Q: Can I adjust the tweeter level on the AV K6?
A: Yes. The crossover offers tweeter level settings of +2, 0 and -2dB, with a 2.5kHz crossover point at 12dB per octave.
