Bluetooth, DAB and smartphone connectivity combined
The large Rotary Commander and clear display make the MVH-S520DAB straightforward to use. Bluetooth enables hands-free calling and wireless music streaming, with Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever technology keeping audio quality close to the original recording. Two Bluetooth phones can be connected at the same time.
Connect an iPhone or Android smartphone via Bluetooth to stream Spotify (free and premium) or use the Pioneer Smart Sync app to extend your phone's functionality in the car.
On the audio side, the MVH-S520DAB plays FLAC files via USB and is equipped with a 13-band graphic EQ, 3-way network mode, 3 RCA pre-outs, and a MOSFET 50W x 4 on-board amplifier — giving a solid foundation for an expanded car audio system.

A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.

A: Check the Specification tab, which lists smartphone connectivity for each model including whether CarPlay and Android Auto are wired or wireless on that unit.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
