The Option Audio PULSE-8BRA is a compact active subwoofer featuring an 8 inch (20cm) driver in a bass reflex enclosure with 350W RMS of built-in amplification and a level remote included. It is part of the Option Audio PULSE range.
The high-level input lets it connect to factory radios without RCA outputs, as well as aftermarket head units with RCA, and it fits in the boot or another suitable position.

PULSE-8BRA Active Subwoofer with Bass Reflex
The PULSE-8BRA delivers 350W RMS in a compact bass reflex housing. It produces precise, powerful bass and includes a level remote so you can adjust the bass output on the move without interrupting your journey. The compact design allows flexible installation in the boot or another suitable location.
Installation is straightforward. The high-level input and flexible connection options allow it to connect to factory radios without RCA as well as aftermarket head units with RCA. The high-level adapter also makes it easy to replace weak OEM subwoofers quickly.

A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Can CEN build or supply an enclosure and fit everything?
A: Yes. CEN supplies enclosures and offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises, including amplifier wiring. Contact us to discuss your build.
