HiFi Purity
The MPS Limited range is immediately set apart by its all-gold-plated connections, including special chassis-mounted RCA connections and robust power and speaker wire terminals. Inside, the signal path has been meticulously designed using Burr-Brown OPA2134 op-amps, which give the amplifiers their natural and detailed sonic character. Low-tolerance surface-mount components and WIMA metallised film capacitors preserve signal integrity throughout. Ultra-low ESR, high-voltage Rubicon capacitors in the power supply and output sections deliver the dynamics and resolution expected of truly high-end performance.
Optimised for Thermal and Power Efficiency
The compact MPS Limited chassis was developed using advanced computational analysis, allowing both models to share the same chassis dimensions whilst managing the different thermal demands of their respective amplifier topologies. This ensures power output is maximised and remains stable at any volume level.
Selectable Voltage Rail Power Supply
The MPS 2.150 Limited features a unique selectable voltage rail design. Because Class AB amplifiers run hotter than Class D equivalents, this allows users to match power delivery to the impedance of the connected speaker, keeping the amplifier within its optimal thermal range. In high-power mode the MPS 2.150 Limited produces 150W x 2 into a 4-ohm load; switching to high-current mode optimises it for 150W x 2 into 2 ohms. This makes for an exceptionally stable platform and an effective way to exploit the amplifier's full power potential.
Stackable HiFi Car Amplifiers
Keeping the amplifier footprint small was a priority, but active configurations and DSP-based systems often require multiple channels of amplification. To address this, MPS Limited models feature unique cast aluminium end caps with removable plates, enabling various mounting options including vertical stacking. The optional MPS-STKP stacking plates allow installers to minimise floor space when using multiple amplifiers, and both the chassis and stacking plates are designed to maintain maximum thermal efficiency throughout.
Installation Forward
As with the current MPS amplifier range, installation and ease of use were key priorities. Single-sided circuit layouts place all connections on one side of the amplifier for a clean, straightforward install. Preamp tuning and settings are located discreetly beneath a removable panel at the top of the unit, alongside auto turn-on selection via remote +12V, signal sensing, or DC turn-off sensing.
Simple Elegance
Designed with simple elegance and considered detail, the MPS Limited models mark the start of a new chapter in compact HiFi amplification. They deliver the power and fidelity to complement any Morel system with genuine audiophile performance.

About the Morel MPS 1.1100
From our tech experts at CEN
The Morel MPS 1.1100 is a Class D monoblock subwoofer amplifier from the limited-edition MPS range, made to mark Morel's 45th anniversary. At 14.4 V it delivers 650 W RMS at 4 ohms and 1,100 W at 2 ohms, with a 10 to 220 Hz response and a 102 dB signal-to-noise ratio.
Who it suits
Drivers powering a serious subwoofer who want a single, high-quality mono channel. It accepts high-level inputs from 0.8 to 20 V or low-level from 0.2 to 4 V, and switches on by remote lead, signal sensing or DC offset. Its two-channel sister is the MPS 2.150.
Our tech experts advise
It needs a 100 A fuse and 4 AWG power cable, so plan the feed from the battery properly. Add the optional MPS-R1 remote to adjust bass from the driving seat. Gains want setting with a meter. Installation is priced per vehicle; get in touch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How much power does the Morel MPS 1.1100 deliver?
A: At 14.4V it delivers 650W RMS x 1 into 4 ohms and 1100W RMS x 1 into 2 ohms.
Q: Is there a remote bass control for the MPS 1.1100?
A: Yes. The Morel MPS-R1 remote level control is compatible and is sold separately.
Q: Can MPS Limited amplifiers be stacked?
A: Yes. The cast aluminium end caps have removable plates, and the optional MPS-STKP stacking plates allow MPS Limited amplifiers to be stacked vertically.
