CompRT 12″ Thin Profile Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer — 4 Ohm (48CWRT124)
The CompRT 12″ is an all-weather shallow-mount subwoofer with dual 4 ohm voice coils. A mounting depth of under four inches and 500W RMS power handling make it well suited to tight installs — under a seat, behind a rear bench or anywhere space is limited. A UV-resistant cone and surround add durability for on- and off-road use.
A thick magnet structure delivers high power handling without increasing mounting depth. The UniPlate™ back plate and solid pole piece act as a single heat-absorbing unit for thermal management, while Forced-Air Cooling™ keeps the sub running up to 20% cooler. SoloKon™ cone technology and the CompRT's unique framework maintain strong bass output within the shallow profile.
Features
- Shallow mounting depth

The 48CWRT124 works best in a sealed or ported enclosure with a recommended amplifier output of 500W.

About the Kicker 48CWRT124
From our tech experts at CEN
A 12 inch subwoofer from the Comp line, Kicker’s long-running range for solid bass without a competition budget, with a 4 ohm voice coil so it can be wired to suit your amplifier.
Who it suits
Drivers building a system where the bass does real work rather than filling in behind the speakers. It needs an enclosure sized correctly for the driver: sealed for tight and accurate, ported for louder and deeper.
Our tech experts advise
A subwoofer is only as good as its enclosure and the amplifier behind it. Box volume, port tuning and how the voice coils are wired decide what you actually hear. We build enclosures to suit the vehicle and match amplification at our Beeston workshop. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.
