6 channel Class D amplifier with 10 channel DSP
The M Six DSP is more than a standard six-channel amplifier. Despite its compact dimensions, it functions as a full processing hub with ten processed DSP channels. It delivers 100 W RMS per channel into both 4 ohm and 2 ohm loads. If you need a dedicated subwoofer amplifier alongside it, the Helix M One pairs naturally within the M Series.

- ISA (Input Signal Analyzer) and InputEQ for analysis and compensation of input signals
- SFX sound effects: Augmented Bass Processing, StageXpander, RealCenter and more
- Smart 6-channel highlevel input with ADEP.3 circuit
- Four RCA / Cinch line outputs with max. 6 V output voltage
- Virtual Channel Processing (VCP) for flexible configuration in complex sound systems
- Bridgeable amplifier channels for woofer or subwoofer use
- DSP board manufactured in Germany
ACO: Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor
The M Six DSP includes a 32 Bit CoProcessor for all monitoring and communication tasks, internally and externally. Compared with the previous 8 Bit generation, this MCU achieves significantly higher speeds for setup switching and data communication with the DSP PC-Tool software. The integrated native boot loader allows software upgrades across all DSP components — useful for adapting the ADEP.3 circuit to future factory radio diagnostic requirements or adding additional interfaces. The ACO also offers 10 memory locations for sound setups, made possible by the onboard flash memory.
Smart highlevel input ADEP.3
Modern factory car radios use sophisticated speaker diagnostics. The latest generation can trigger failure messages or lose features such as fader control when an amplifier is connected. The ADEP.3 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) prevents these issues without placing unnecessary load on the OE radio's speaker outputs at high volumes.
Power Save Mode
Power Save Mode is active by default. It reduces power consumption across all amplifiers connected to the M Six DSP when no input signal is detected for more than 60 seconds. In vehicles with CAN bus or similar systems, the radio may remain active for up to 45 minutes after the car is locked — once Power Save Mode engages, the remote output and any connected amplifiers will switch off. The M Six DSP reactivates the remote output within one second when a music signal is detected. The 60-second turn-off delay can be adjusted or disabled entirely via the DSP PC-Tool software.
Start-Stop capability
The switched power supply in the M Six DSP maintains a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery voltage drops to 6 V during engine crank, ensuring stable operation during start-stop events.

About the Helix HA16119
From our tech experts at CEN
The Helix M Six DSP is a 6-channel Class D amplifier with a 10-channel 64-bit DSP built in. It delivers 6 x 100 W RMS into 4 or 2 ohms, or 3 x 200 W bridged at 4 ohms, and has four processed RCA outputs for extra amplifiers.
Who it suits
Drivers who want amplification and full DSP tuning in one unit, such as an active front stage plus rear fill, or a factory radio integration using the six high-level inputs with ADEP.3. To add a subwoofer, the four RCA outputs can feed a mono amplifier such as the M One X.
Our tech experts advise
It measures 50 x 320 x 154 mm and also has six RCA inputs and an optical input. The amplifier only sounds its best once the DSP is set up with in-car measurements, delays and crossovers. Installation and tuning are priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How much power does the Helix M Six DSP have?
A: It delivers 6 x 100 W RMS into both 4 and 2 ohms, or 3 x 200 W bridged at 4 ohms, with up to 130 W RMS per channel in typical multi-channel applications.
Q: Can the Helix M Six DSP be connected to a factory radio?
A: Yes. It has a smart 6-channel highlevel input with the ADEP.3 circuit, which avoids diagnostic error messages and loss of features such as the fader on modern factory radios. It also has 6 RCA inputs and an optical SPDIF input.
Q: What is in the box with the Helix M Six DSP?
A: The HELIX M SIX DSP amplifier, a line output-to-RCA cable, a USB cable, mounting material and an instruction manual.
