The Harman/Kardon Flow 80 subwoofer delivers true, accurate and powerful bass performance thanks to its space saving inverted acoustic structure and powerful neodymium magnet motor with a large 2-inch voice coil.
Harman/Kardon’s Clean Aesthetic Design
Flow 80 keeps with Harman/Kardon’s clean aesthetic, the silhouette of the speaker is a simple circle. The fabric-wrapped grill, reminiscent of other Harman/Kardon speakers, protects the cone from fallen debris under the seat. The front magnet creates the illusion of pushing the cloth grill into the speaker. The magnet’s metal grill uses the iconic Harman/Kardon 60-degree slash pattern, based on the “/” in Harman/Kardon, which provides venting for peak performance.
Inverted Acoustic Structure
Flow 80 utilizes an inverted space saving acoustic structure to achieve maximum excursion in shallow mount applications, while still reproducing powerful and accurate low frequencies.
Neodymium Magnetic Motor
Neodymium magnets deliver up to 20 times the magnetic field per unit volume compared to Ferrite magnet to maximize performance while minimizing bulk and weight.
2" (50mm) Voice Coil Wound on TIL (Glass Fiber) Former
Flow 80 is engineered with a 2" voice coil with a high temperature resistant TIL (Glass Fiber) former for exceptional power dissipation and stability.
BMW-specific Chassis with Plug-and-play Connector is Included
Flow 80 is supplied with a BMW-specific chassis and plug-and-play connector, which allows a "direct replacement" and makes for quick and easy installation of the select BMW models underneath the front seats.

Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?
A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?
A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.
